Job Summary:
As a Courier Driver at Tribal Diagnostics, you are a vital part of our logistics team, responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of laboratory samples to designated locations. Reporting to the Transportation and Logistics Manager, your role is integral to maintaining our commitment to excellence in service and customer satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles to deliver laboratory samples to designated locations promptly and safely.
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety guidelines, and delivery schedules.
- Follow predefined courier routes provided by the Transportation and Logistics Manager.
- Report any route-related challenges, delays, or deviations to the manager promptly.
- Handle laboratory samples with care, ensuring the integrity and security of each delivery.
- Follow specific guidelines for transporting sensitive materials.
- Maintain clear communication with the Transportation and Logistics Manager and other team members.
- Provide updates on delivery status and report any issues encountered during the route.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Transportation and Logistics Manager.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
- Previous experience in a courier or delivery role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to load and unload delivery items from the vehicle, which may involve lifting, carrying, and maneuvering packages of various sizes and weights.
- Comfortable driving for extended periods and familiarity with different vehicle types.
- Ability to adapt to changing weather conditions, traffic patterns, and delivery schedules.
- Physical endurance to handle the demands of the job, including sitting for extended periods, standing, and walking during deliveries.
