Tribal Education Departments National Assembly (TEDNA) is a Native-led Nonprofit that has been serving Tribal Education Departments/Agencies (TEDs/TEAs) for almost 20 years.
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
TEDNA is looking to hire a highly motivated individual to join their team. Applicants must have the following qualities:
- Enjoys interacting with 9th to 12th grade Native American students
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- Self-driven
- Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Skillful ability to utilize all web based tools and resources
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Ability to research best practices/methods
- Understanding of and adherence to time sensitive deadlines
- Available for occasional evening and weekend events
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaboration with students and families toward college and career readiness goals
- Daily travel to school sites
- Work in collaboration with LEAs and TEAs
- Host family engagement events
MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide mandatory reports to TEAs and supervisor
- Attend meetings and trainings for the position as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education: Associates Degree preferred
Experience: Must have some college and work experience
Other: Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
