Job Summary
Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Job Duties
Plans, implements, evaluates, and delivers patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual / psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and / or family and provides patient / family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Maintains clinical skills and competency through orientation, annual and ongoing education, and clinical practice.
Follows Tribal Health and client specific policy and procedures.
All other duties as assigned and specified by clinical assignment and site.
Requirements :
- Any state license accepted
- Certifications required
- ACLS, PALS Preferred
- Experience requirements
1 year of experience in specialty

Facility Description and Overview :
Eagle Butte, SD Facility Cheyenne River Health Center
Outpatient Registered Nurses
8am to 5 pm.
Each provider sees an average of 5 to 8 patients per day
Federal forms, fingerprints, profile.
2 - 4 weeks
Each provider has a nurse, navigator and nursing assistant No special procedures, OPD does do telehealth.
