Chief Operations Director

The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community's Tribal Government is seeking a Chief Operations Director to oversee the operations and management of LaunchPad Golf. This leadership role will ensure all aspects of the facility, including field maintenance, team management, customer service, group sales, restaurant, and financial performance are effectively managed to provide an exceptional experience for guests.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing midsize food and beverage or entertainment operations. They will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing budgets, and fostering a positive work environment. They will also be expected to leverage business acumen, industry knowledge, and leadership skills to achieve operational excellence and drive the success of LaunchPad.

• High School Diploma Required.
• Some college preferred.
• Certification within F&B preferred.
• Certified Food Service Manager Certificate or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
• 5- 7 years proven experience in the food and beverage industry or entertainment.
• Excellent financial and budget management skills.
• Highly skilled in running midsize F&B or entertainment operation.
• Intermediate experience with word-processing, spreadsheets, presentation, electronic mail software, and restaurant-specific software.
• Excellent organization and project management skills.
• Flexibility with hours including some nights and weekends & holidays
