Position Overview

Job Title : Primary Care Director
Location : Kenai, AK, USA
Department : Primary Care
Employment Status : Full Time, Exempt
Reports to : Director of Health Systems

Key Responsibilities

Operational leadership for Primary Care and ancillary medical team

Ensure quality assurance and performance improvement activities

Collaborate with other departments to optimize health outcomes

High-level problem-solving and communication with leadership

Active schedule management within Primary Care

Participate in strategic planning and performance improvement initiatives

Facilitate training and learning activities for direct reports and staff

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration (Master's preferred)

5 years' experience overseeing healthcare facility operations

3 years' documented health leadership experience

Experience in multiple medical provider settings

Demonstrated change management experience

Basic Life Support certification

Valid Alaska driver's license

Skills and Attributes

Understanding of quality improvement methods

Strong leadership and team-building approach

Knowledge of healthcare accreditation standards

Effective communication and collaboration skills

Knowledge of integrative care and regulatory agencies

Ability to manage human capital and financial resources

Strong customer service skills

Working Conditions

Medium work (lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally)

Exposure to biohazards (Category I - routine exposure to blood, body fluid, and tissue)

Local, in-state, and out-of-state travel may be required
