Job Overview: Responsible for performing Community Member customer service and administrative support including assisting with building permits, land assignment transactions, rental support, scanning files, mail routing, and various support duties for the Tribal Operations Administrator, Director of Land and
Building Services and Building Inspection Department. Completes special assignments and works directly with Community Members
Maximize Your Impact: The Responsibilities You’ll Own:
- Provides Community Member customer service and administrative support and provides support to Tribal Operations Administrator, Director of Land and Building Services and Building Inspection.
- Receive, direct and respond to incoming phone calls and correspondence from Community Members as directed. Ensures land department office equipment is maintained and repaired as needed.
- Interacts and provides assistance to Community Members, staff and visitors. Assists with a broad range of requests for information. Provides accurate and complete information and instructions on a variety of requirements, policies and procedures regarding services available. Resolves routine concerns and issues regarding service and policies.
- Assist Community Members with completing forms, requisitions and other documents (including land assignment and building permits applications etc). Resolve various Community Member concerns and issues regarding service and policies related to land assignment and building permit activities. Analyze, resolve, and notify individuals of action taken regarding difficult problems and concerns.
- Assists and participates in events.
- Scan, organize and maintain Land Records and Laserfiche document management system for Tribal Operations and Land Departments.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Any combination of post-secondary education and experience in Office Administration, Business, or related field to equal five years.
- Advanced proficiency (ability to create and develop complex files and reports) in word-processing, spreadsheets, meeting presentations, database, Laserfiche and electronic mail software.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (excel, PPT, etc.)
- Ability to type 50 WPM.
- Strong and positive interpersonal communication skills.
