Job Overview: Assist with Tribal Court interviewing in Indian Child Welfare proceedings. Receive and investigate reports of suspected child abuse and neglect involving Tribal children. Supervise and assist Tribal children pursuant to child welfare dispositions, offer family support and make active efforts to meet necessary or desired services.

Job Requirements:
Reflects MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the
expectation of this job:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.
- Five or more years of experience in child protection investigation and on-going child protective services.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Indian Child Welfare, Native American resources and Dakota culture preferred.
- Valid Class D driver’s license may be required with a good driving record.
