Job Overview: The Manager, Golf Operations is responsible for creating an exceptional golf experience for guests at LaunchPad. The Manager, Golf operations will play in pivotal role in overseeing guest satisfaction, gameplay, and range maintenance. This role leads all golf programming, including daily play, VIP services, group outings, and special events. Additionally, the Manager collaborates closely with the Group Sales and Leadership teams to support events and ensure seamless operations.
Create Lasting Change: The Impact You’ll Have:
- Oversee golf operations staff to include – hiring, training and leadership to provide an exception guest experience.
- Develop frequent player and VIP services programming to include membership options.
- Develop and lead golf instruction programs for youth and adults.
- Responsible for high-tech golf gaming technology, POS and reservation technology.
- Accountable for all range systems and equipment.
- Responsible for inventory management of retail & club inventory.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of golf trends in apparel and equipment.
- Assists with financial budgeting, expense controls, and labor costs.
Job Requirements:
- High school Diploma
- Minimum of 3 years working experience at a golf course, or similar type golf facility on the golf operations side; 2 years of direct leadership experience.
- Ability to perform and/or manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, mentor and develop team.
- Basic computer proficiencies include MS Office, word, email, and related business software.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Capacity to handle and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
