Job Overview: Responsible for installing, maintaining, altering and repairing the irrigation system. Diagnoses and repairs problems with all irrigation systems, tests wire tracing and radio telemetry, provides training on basic irrigation equipment. Also performs a variety of landscaping functions, including mowing, weeding, planting, and snow removal.

Job Requirements:
Reflects MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the expectations of this job:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Three years experience conducting field troubleshooting, repairs and/or installation of commercial/municipal irrigation control systems.
- Valid Class D driver’s license may be required with a good driving record.
- MN Pesticide Applicators License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to read and understand irrigation blueprints
- Knowledge of central irrigation control systems and booster pumps.
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a wide range of climate temperatures, including excessive heat and/or subzero temperatures.
- Proficiency in maintaining safety while handling potential fumes, chemicals, odors, and/or noise.
- Capacity to handle and lift up to 100 lbs. as needed.
- Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations, including on feet 75% of time.
