Job Overview: Coordinate, analyze, and process land transactions for the SMSC including; residential land transactions, fee acquisitions, fee-to-trust acquisitions, purchases, easement negotiations and right-of-way grants. Coordinate land records inventory, modernization, and management. Negotiate and manage rental leases and facilitate rental property management. Prepare, coordinate and review environmental compliance documentation. Prepares purchase agreements, instruments of conveyance and prepares official land documents. Assists with title examination efforts, land use, and management initiatives. Provide general transaction management with the highest level of customer service and confidentiality.

Job Requirements:
Reflects MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the expectations of this job:
- Combination of education and/or experience in real estate, natural resource management, Fee-to-Trust acquisitions, property management, ROW negotiation, title examination, transaction closing, land use planning, legal assistant/paralegal or related field to equal five years.
- Knowledge or experience related to Indian land regulations, tribal trust land, and/or tribal law, preferred.
- Knowledge or experience related to the National Environmental Policy Act and its application in Indian Country, preferred.
- Notary Public or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Valid Class D driver’s license may be required with a good driving record.
