Overview: Tribe Heavy Civil and Marine
Tribe Heavy Civil and Marine constructs essential infrastructure that supports communities and economies. We specialize in deep foundations, primarily helical piles and driven piles for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
Role:
As a member of our team, you will be part of our construction crews. We rely on you and your skills to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard or quality.
Duties:
- Assist in the installation of deep foundations for various projects, including restaurants, hotels, retail businesses, boat ramps, bridges, campgrounds, homes, and more.
- Assist in mobilizing and demobilizing projects.
- Organize and prepare material for installation.
- Assemble and disassemble helical shafts.
- Assist in installing helical pile.
- Assist in setting templates, batter boards, stakes, stringlines, or robotic layout.
- Assist in installing driven piles.
- Use or learn to operate power tools and hand tools such as torches, saws, impacts, drills, levels, rigging, chains, binders, and hoses.
- Use or learn to operate small construction equipment such as mini excavators, skid steers, and pumps.
- Assist in maintenance of construction equipment.
- Work outdoors in coastal locations.
- Ensure a safe and organized job site.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Arrive to work on time.
- Willing to learn new skills or improve on current skills.
- Work together as a team member.
- Ability to lift heavy loads (50lbs) and perform physical tasks throughout the day.

Operational Procedures:
- Working hours 7:00am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday
- Lunch - 30 mins onsite
- Weekends - Saturdays are very rare and will be communicated ahead of time. No work Sundays.
- Market Area - Mobile County, AL to Escambia County, FL
- Travel - Occasional travel will be required outside of market area. Housing arrangements and food allowance will be provided.
- Tools - All tools will be provided along with required PPE.
- Uniform - Employee must provide their own steel toe boots, pants, and shirts with sleeves (short or long sleeves). PPE will be provided such as gloves, glasses, hard hats, vest, and hearing protection. Specialty safety equipment will also be provided.
- Rain - Work may continue in rain if it is safe. Otherwise we will do training or call it a short day.
