Job description
Tribe Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled SLPA to work with children ages birth to five with varying degrees of exceptionalities. Our approach is interdisciplinary with many services provided as cotreatments. Our care is family-centered and because we function out of a home, we can have a more naturalistic environment. We provide highly skilled, evidence-based intervention. This job is physical and involves a high level of energy and activity. You should be able to easily lift and hold children. Our team consists of speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and physical therapy. We have a high level of young children with autism spectrum disorders. We are located in a historic 1938 Riverside home in Jacksonville, Florida.
This is a contract position with no benefits. Preferred days to start are Wednesday (8:30-5), Thursday (8:30-5) and Saturday (9-1), with the option to add days as the caseload grows. Schedule can be somewhat flexible if these days/times need adjusting. Candidates that prefer to work less hours or only Saturdays would be considered.
In order to apply for this position please be able to meet the following criteria:
1) Hold an active SLPA FL DOH license
2) Have minimum 2 years pediatric experience, ages 0 - 5 years
3) Have minimum 1 year experience with autism under age five (preferred)
4) Current CPR certification
5) Have an active professional liability policy.
