We are located Saddle Brook, NJ where we assemble high quality, semi-custom cabinetry to the building trades of the Eastern and Mid-Atlantic states. Your Job Responsibilities Will Include:
Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
Manage and reconcile all financial transactions (A/R, C/R, A/P, CD, payroll, cost of sales, etc.).
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information & prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages (reports are currently created in excel).
Preparing balance sheet
Profit and loss statement
Reconcile all general ledger accounts including inventory, WIP, direct and indirect labor, etc.
Filing of the business corporate taxes (prepared by CPA firm).
Filing of sales and use tax returns (prepared internally).
Interprets accounting data, analyzes reports and recommends action to be taken.
Prepares difficult journal entries, maintains complex ledgers, reconciles and analyzes specific cost account ledgers. Assists in the development and installation of accounting systems, cost accounting methods, procedures and controls.
Prepares financial reports analyzing data for management review.
Enters monthly journal entries to properly record accounting transactions, ensuring that journal entries have proper back up to substantiate the entry.
Reviews financial statements for operating trends and results.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education: Formal degree in accounting related field is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost-Accounting and Controlling is preferred.
Experience in Manufacturing is preferred.
Bi-Lingual Chinese-English (speak, read & write) a plus.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial analysis is preferred.
Experience with ERP systems is preferred and Experience NetSuite is a plus.
Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft programs are preferred. Excel experience require (knowledge how to create, export, link, with Excel is required).
Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks and NetSuite a must.
