Position Overview:
Supervises Brio Primary Care’s Referrals Team. Responsible for day-to-day operations including: promotion of teamwork among all team members, adherence to applicable policies and procedures, onboarding process and communication of updates to team, and coordinating department growth and development. Maintains communication with practice leadership to ensure referrals processes are effective and efficient for providers, patients/parents, etc.

Position Overview:

Maintains communication with practice leadership to ensure referrals processes are effective and efficient for providers, patients/parents, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Provides the direct day-to-day oversight and direction of the referrals team. Develops the team members’ work schedule, handles hiring/firing, monitors individual performance, and facilitates team member reviews, training and other personnel matters. Educates team on all practice policies and procedures, etc.
- Coordinates the daily operations/big picture processes in referrals. Communicates notable changes or trends with Brio Operations Team/Leadership. Promotes an authentic, transparent work environment in support of Tribe513’s Five Commitments of Conscious Culture.
- Oversees onboarding process. Takes ownership of monitoring and ensuring quality of service provided to patients and fellow team members alike. Regularly reviews and reports data on referrals statistics, monitoring number of referrals in various statuses.
- Prepares staffing plans and maintains adequate staffing levels in proportion to number of Providers. Maintains a monthly budget for team expenses.
- Helps develop and carry out short term and long term goals for department.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a referral specialist position preferred
- 2-3 years of leadership or management experience preferred
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time. Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for this position.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
