Summary/Objective
The Golf Course Maintenance position is responsible for directly maintaining overall condition of the golf course and may be utilized to support the property maintenance and horticulture needs of the club grounds. This position will be integral to the preseason preparation, in season maintenance, and post season closing of the golf course. In some cases where the position is year-round, will be helping the club with its snow removal, ice rink, Nordic track and management.
Essential Functions
- Operate blower
- Operate carts
- Clean restrooms with mops and sanitizing chemicals
- Remove rocks from bunkers
- Walk tee mowing
- Rock clean up on tees
- Repair divots
- Weedeat Bunkers
- Remove /Shovel Snow
- Operate push mowers
- Remove Poa grass by hand
- Motorized bunker rake operations
- Paint golf cups and stain assorted accessories
- Rake bunkers
- Rake and fix cart paths
- Clean and organize Maintenance Shop
- Remove plants from ponds
- Install Sod
- Operate Weedeater
- Backpack Blower Operations
- Walk green mowe
Marginal Functions
- Assist with the Horticulture needs of the club as a support staff to Golf Course Maintenance.
- Assist with HOA Maintenance needs of the club as a support to the HOA team.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a Full or Part Time Seasonal, hourly position, where work availability is not anticipated to exceed three months due to school or other commitments that constrict seasonal availability. Days and hours of work are typically up to 5 days a week at 8 hours each day on average and may be adjusted for business needs. Overtime is possible. Must have the ability to work weekends, holidays, days, and nights with flexible hours. Schedule is subject to change, and applicants must be flexible with schedule adjustments.

Required Education and Experience
- There is no prior experience required for this position.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Previous experience in Grounds keeping, Maintenance, Horticulture or related field is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Must be able to speak English at an elementary level.
Work Authorization
Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States for I-9 form purposes.
