**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**
In the role of Human Resources Generalist based in our Dorchester, MA location, you will play a crucial role in enforcing company policies, programs, and practices. Your responsibilities include addressing employee grievances, updating job requirements, and overseeing the recruitment process. You'll conduct new hire orientation, administer performance reviews, and ensure legal compliance. Additionally, you'll actively participate in food safety and quality initiatives, maintaining an up-to-date onboarding process and training procedures. Safety responsibilities involve implementing policies, managing OSHA compliance, and chairing the Health & Safety Committee, ensuring a "Safe place" culture through training and safety initiatives. Your social responsibilities include upholding labor standards, environmental programs, and business ethics policies. You'll maintain records for annual SMETA assessments and complete social responsibility reports.
As a skilled professional, you should be positive, bilingual in Spanish (preferred), possess strong customer service and communication skills, and demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities. Your role requires proficiency in MS Office and entails managing and leading staff to excellent performance.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Minimum 3 yrs HR Generalist experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ADP is a plus
- Experience supporting health and safety initiatives
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
