Summary: Under the direction of the Executive Director of Construction, this position performs professional and skilled administrative work and is responsible for administrative and accounting duties within the Construction department. Assists with other duties as needed or assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure payments for invoices are processed in a timely manner by assisting in, not only the entry of invoices, but also in all needed coordination with vendors and Tribute personnel. This will involve the creation, dissemination, and utilization of relevant reports.
- Track contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Create job reports as needed to aid in the analysis of budgets and schedules.
- Coordinate with the Construction Team to create and regularly update job schedules.
- Analyze, determine, and document reasons for invoice-related budget variances.
- Coordinate and oversee the Subcontractor/Vendor approval process, including verification of W-9’s and proof of insurance.
- Reconcile and audit Purchase Orders to receivers and invoices received.
- Monitor contracts and change orders for compliance with contract terms.
- Perform monthly analysis/reconciliation of financial statement accounts, as needed.
- Communicate with vendors to get updated/missing documentation necessary to process invoices timely.
- Assist with various projects and tasks as determined by the Executive Director of Construction.

- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with vendors, subcontractors, trade professionals, coworkers, and the general public.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Education and Experience
Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and processes. Ability to communicate ideas effectively in both oral and written forms. General knowledge of accounting internal control practices. Keen attention to detail, efficiency, and deadlines. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to operate independently with urgency and accuracy.
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred and 3-5 years of experience in an accounting environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
The ability to understand construction plans and experience with Premier Construction Software is preferred but not required.
