TriCare Medical Transportation is South Jersey’s premier medical transportation company. We are a large-scale 24/7 operation with over 300 employees and 130 vehicles, providing service from our headquarters in Pleasantville, NJ and two satellite locations in Vineland and Cherry Hill.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Lead Dispatcher, you will play a key role as the first line of response in emergent and non-emergent calls.
- Coordinate the work and activities of EMTs, First Responders, MAV Drivers, and Nurses during emergent and non-emergent transports
- Work directly with the Dispatch Supervisor to determine the best course of action for daily duties
- Be courteous and professional to patients, facility employees, co-workers, supervisors and the public at all times
- Receive, prioritize and dispatch calls in computer aided dispatch software (CAD)
- Intake large volume of calls and determine appropriate level of EMS response required
- Operate radio communication devices, multi-line telephone system and various computer systems
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Dispatch experience is preferred but not required
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in high pressure situations
- Clean background check
- Negative drug screening
