Job Description: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

• Position: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer
• Shift: Four 10-hour day shifts (0700–1730), with a rotating day off each week. Includes fair rotation of Saturday coverage and holiday rotation coverage for pre/post-holiday shifts.
• Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in echocardiography, preferably in an inpatient setting.
• Certifications Required: BLS (RDCS strongly preferred, RCS considered with strong experience).
• Certifications Preferred: RDCS-Adult.
• First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call Requirement: None
• Floating Requirement: None (no sister facility coverage).
• Local Candidates Accepted: No
• Pending State License Accepted: Yes
• RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract.
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Special Requirements:

• High patient volume requires strong time management, critical thinking, and physical endurance.
• Work setting includes outpatient, inpatient, ER, Level I Trauma, and Teaching Hospital environments.
• Experience with GE, PACS, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, and M-Mode required.
• EPIC charting experience preferred.
• Not Required: Vascular experience or stress testing/TEE coverage.
• Male travelers must comply with beard/facial hair restrictions for FIT testing.
• Strong preference for left-handed scanning due to ergonomic setup.
