Position : Sterile Processing Tech
Location : Philadelphia, PA 19118
Duration : 13 Weeks contract
Shift : 5 X 8s * 40 hrs / Week8 hrs / Day
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Clean & Decontaminate: Safely clean and disinfect surgical instruments and medical equipment using proper techniques and equipment.
✔ Inspect & Assemble: Examine items for cleanliness, functionality, and damage; assemble instrument trays and kits.
✔ Sterilize: Operate sterilizers and follow protocols to ensure proper sterilization cycles.
✔ Aseptic Technique: Employ aseptic techniques when preparing and handling sterile supplies.
✔ Inventory Maintenance: Maintain linen packs and ensure trays are properly labeled and stocked.
✔ Distribution: Deliver sterile and clean supplies to hospital units and departments as needed.
✔ Documentation: Accurately document sterilization loads, biological indicators, and maintenance records.
Minimum Qualifications:
✅ High School Diploma or Equivalent – REQUIRED
✅ CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) – Required OR must obtain within 18 months of hire
OR
✅ CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) – Required OR must obtain within 18 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience in Central Sterile Reprocessing (CSR) or sterile processing – Preferred
