Job Summary and Qualifications

The Masters Level Clinical Therapist PRN will providegroup, individual and family therapies within our inpatient psychiatric program. You will collaborate with the health care team and develop treatment goals and plan interventions that assist individuals to resolve psychosocial concerns that may arise as a result of a psychiatric condition. Provide crisis and supportive counseling to enhance the individuals problem-solving and coping skills.

What you will do in this role :

You will provide initial and ongoing psychosocial assessments for patients / families having complex psychosocial needs.

You will provide group psychotherapies and will have a caseload of individual therapy clients

You will have the opportunity to work, and receive support from, a collaborative team of clinicians who work together to provide care to individuals served.

Collaborate with community agencies to provide services to assist with housing, financial, transportation, psychosocial, educational, home health, and home medical equipment needs of patients / families post-discharge.

Document case management assessments, treatment goals, interventions, outcomes, and discharge plans in the patients medical record congruent with departmental policies.

What Qualifications you will need :

Experience in mental health or related field

Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Service field
