Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at TriCities Hospital. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for preparing radiopharmaceuticals, performing non-clinical duties, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare radiopharmaceuticals for scintigraphy, bioassay, and therapeutic procedures
- Dispose of radioactive trash according to department policy and NRC regulations
- Perform non-clinical activities related to equipment maintenance and radiation monitoring
- Operate electronic information systems and Unit Dose Manager efficiently
- Participate in continuing education activities to expand knowledge of Nuclear Medicine
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology or Nuclear Medicine
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- One year of experience in Nuclear Medicine, including formal NM training program
