Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Scientist in Molecular Spectroscopy, located in Lafayette, IN. The Senior Scientist will be responsible for conducting advanced research and analysis using various molecular spectroscopy techniques (FTIR, IR, Raman, Low Frequency). Daily activities include designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, preparing reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role also involves developing and validating analytical methods, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Senior Scientist will play a crucial role in advancing our scientific capabilities and delivering high-quality results to our clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in Molecular Spectroscopy, Analytical Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry
- Proficiency in designing and conducting experiments, data analysis, and method development
- Knowledge of cGMP materials characterization and regulatory compliance
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex chemical issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to prepare detailed reports
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field
- Experience in solid-state chemistry and intellectual property support is beneficial
