COORDINATOR OF TECHNOLOGY (K-12) Anticipated

Job Overview
Trico Community Unit District #176 is seeking a K-12 Coordinator of Technology to oversee the integration, support, and growth of technology within our district. This role will ensure that both students and staff have access to the tools, resources, and professional development necessary to enhance teaching, learning, and district operations.

The K-12 Coordinator of Technology will work closely with school leaders, educators, and the board of education to foster an environment that encourages the effective use of technology across all grade levels.

 Skills & Abilities:

o Strong understanding of current K-12 educational technologies, including

learning management systems (LMS), interactive devices, and digital

resources.

o Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work

effectively with educators, administrators, and students.

o Knowledge of data privacy laws and best practices for securing student

information.

o Ability to assess technology needs and create strategic plans to enhance

technology use throughout the district.

o Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and

software issues.

o Ability to provide guidance and direction to the Technology aide.

Work Environment:

 Work is performed in both office and school settings across the district.

 The District culture is positive and student-centered.

Physical Requirements:

 Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds of equipment as needed.

 Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally perform

physical tasks associated with technology setup or maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
