Role Overview: As a Journeyman Lineman with us, you’ll play a crucial role in both the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground high voltage power lines. This dynamic position involves a variety of tasks that require technical skill, precision, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construction and Maintenance: Construct and maintain high voltage power lines, both overhead and underground, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

• Pole Operations: Climb poles, perform hot sticking, set poles, and change pole equipment with expertise and care.

• Wire Management: Accurately string and sag wire, maintaining safety and operational standards at all times.

• Underground Cable Operations: Pull, lay, and terminate underground cables according to established procedures and quality benchmarks.

• Equipment Installation: Install pad-mounted equipment, ensuring it’s correctly placed and functioning effectively.

• Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Lineman with a strong background in high voltage power line construction and maintenance.

• Proficiency in pole climbing, hot sticking, and operating heavy equipment.

• In-depth knowledge of wire management, underground cable operations, and equipment installation.

• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
