The Compliance Risk Specialist at Tricolor Holdings plays a key role in ensuring our company effectively manages business objectives and satisfies regulatory requirements. The Compliance Risk Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization’s compliance program by monitoring regulatory requirements, conducting audits, and assisting the Compliance Risk Manager in the development and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure regulatory adherence, identifying potential compliance risks, and recommending process improvements to address any gaps.
Compliance Risk Specialist Compensation and Benefits
- Pay – $75,000 base salary 10% bonus

Compliance Risk Specialist Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
- Knowledge of applicable consumer financial services laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, FCRA, ECOA, GLBA, UDAAP, TCPA, FDCPA, TILA, SCRA.
- Proven experience with research and root cause analysis
- Strong process management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in handling sensitive information with a high degree of discretion.
- Proficient creating and maintaining information with Microsoft Office software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Able to pass a drug test and background check
Experience
- 2 years of experience in consumer financial services compliance.
- At least 1 year of experience with policy and procedure updates or process management
- At least 1 year of experience with conducting internal audits or in risk management.
Compliance Risk Specialist Responsibilities
- Research and monitor regulatory requirements to identify changes that impact the business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to update policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the creation, review, and updating of compliance policies and procedures.
- Investigate and escalate potential compliance risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Conduct internal audits of organizational operations to assess regulatory compliance and report findings to compliance leadership.
- Support the performance, maintenance, and regular updating of compliance risk assessments.
- Assist in responding to regulatory inquiries, audits, and examinations in a timely and thorough manner.
- Escalate emerging risks, opportunities for process improvements, or training needs identified during audits to the Compliance Risk Manager.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal controls to mitigate compliance risks.
- Review company documents, communications, and training materials to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support third-party vendor management to ensure vendors comply with relevant regulations and internal standards.
- Make recommendations for process improvements to address compliance gaps and enhance regulatory adherence.
