Job Description
An established manufacturer of architectural hardware and industrial components seeks an experienced specification rep who has related experience in building materials and architectural background. This direct hire position offers $75-78K with an excellent benefits package, plus a specification bonus and growth opportunities.
- Work from home with travel
Ideally resides in CA, IL, NY and TX
monthly car allowance of $550 per diem for overnight travel

Requirements of the Division Development Lead:
- Bachelor s degree
- 2-5 years of related experience needed (Specification, design)
- Design, architectural knowledge, and background
- Experience in building material company specifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Working proficiency in MS Office Suites and CRM or other enterprise data systems
- Team-oriented with strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
- Computer savvy with ability in MS Office Suites and other design-related software
- Must be willing to travel up to 60%
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities of the Division Development Lead:
- Develop/establish key relationships within the architecture and design community
- Increase in business territory accounts volume
- Schedule and conduct product presentations
- Participating in industry events such as trade shows, mixers, training, and professional organization events
- Conduct daily outbound & inbound customer interactions
- Coordinate with sales team & management to ensure specifications translate into orders and successful product installations
- Consistently update and maintain product libraries
- Complete product blitzes and campaigns as required
- Additional duties as assigned

Schedule: Monday Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
