The IT Infrastructure Regional Manager will oversee the delivery and performance of modern workplace services across the US and Canada. This role ensures alignment with global IT standards, manages local service providers, and ensures services meet local needs. This manager will oversee infrastructure support teams and collaborate closely with global and local IT stakeholders;
Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing regional IT team focused on continuous improvement;
- Supervise the Infrastructure & Operations Team, ensuring effective project and day-to-day management;
- Drive team development, providing leadership and fostering an environment of growth;
- Collaborate with local and global leaders to align IT strategies;
- Propose and implement modern workplace improvements.
- Project Management:
- Manage IT projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline;
- Align local initiatives with corporate IT roadmaps;
- Maintain a local project portfolio and ensure effective stakeholder communication and change management.
- Delivery, Support & Service Performance:
- Ensure system uptime and prompt resolution of IT issues within SLAs;
- Act as a liaison for local users with corporate IT teams to ensure satisfaction;
- Maximize the use of corporate IT systems locally;
- Analyze and monitor service performance and KPIs.
- Security & Cyber Resilience:
- Collaborate with Cyber-SOC Services to identify and mitigate cyber threats;
- Maintain cyber performance metrics and support audits;
- Implement secure, resilient IT architectures and ensure patch management.
- Financial & Budget Management:
- Define and manage the regional IT operations budget (OpEx/CapEx);
- Monitor financial spend to ensure alignment with budget targets.
- Vendor Management:
- Partner with sourcing and purchasing teams to select and manage vendors;
- Regularly review vendor performance and ensure compliance;
- Oversee asset management to ensure visibility and negotiation leverage.
- Compliance & Standards:
- Integrate compliance requirements (GxP, GDPR) into projects and operations;
- Enforce internal control, corporate policies, and audit standards;
- Define and implement best practices to ensure consistent service quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
- 10 years of IT leadership experience in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, operations, and vendor management.
- Understanding of cybersecurity threats and solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in English (French is a plus).
