Summary

This .NET Developer will administer the Elite 3E/Thomson Reuters Accounting and Time/Billing systems, provide end-user support to internal customers, and develop/customize these systems’ applications and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the company's enterprise-class accounting system and all ancillary systems, including, but not limited to, Time Entry, Invoice Production, New Business Intake, Budgeting, Conflict Processing, Payroll/Benefits, Reporting, and ancillary systems.
• Develops Web-based solutions for internal customers’ business needs using C#/MVC.NET and MS SQL.
• Develop methods and processes to interact with various Cloud-based APIs using SOAP and RESTful APIs.
• Develop workflows and applications using Decisions.
• Develop and maintain data synchronizations between various systems within and between the company and other key data providers using Visual Studio.NET, SSIS, SFTP, Integration Builder, or other ETL techniques.
• Develop custom tools, loaders, procedures, or workflows where applicable to support data integration and business needs.
• Develop and maintain tables, queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions as needed per internal requirements.
• Support the company's enterprise-class accounting system and all ancillary systems including Time Entry, Invoice Production, New Business Intake, Budgeting, Asset Management, Expense Management, Procurement, HR, Conflict Processing, and other financial systems.
• Act as a liaison between non-technical units and internal/external technical resources.
• Guide stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve the project objectives.
• Assist with upgrading applications.
• Support collaboration between Accounting, vendors, and all third-party applications.
• Guide the internal and external client base in project management.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture development from a business needs point of view.
• Maintain user security within financial systems.
• Monitor and assist in troubleshooting system performance issues.
• Open tickets with vendor support to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for the financial systems.
• Create documentation/Knowledgebase articles for Level-1 Help Desk Support.
• Analyze project requirements in terms of effort, time, and costs.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience with Elite 3E/Thomson Reuters financial software.
• 5 years of .NET development experience.
• Advanced MS SQL and SQL Server skills (creating and optimizing queries, stored procedures, jobs, integrations).
• Advanced development skills in C# or MVC.NET.
• Ability to evaluate, plan, and implement new systems effectively in a law firm setting.
• Experience documenting requirements, process flows, etc.
• Advanced diagnostic abilities for system and application issues.
• Advanced ability with XML and/or JSON data files.
• Experience with Azure.
• Experience with Cloud Services.
• Advanced understanding of development/application lifecycles and Client/Server architectures in an enterprise environment.
