Product Owner

Summary

The Product Owner will oversee business applications used by insurance brokerage associates to serve employed clients, combining technical expertise with product management to drive technological solutions. Working with internal teams and vendors; this role identifies system requirements, translates them into user stories for developers, and manages project delivery while ensuring alignment with business growth and efficiency goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in matrix organizations with multiple vendors.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt continuously.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with Insurance Agency Management Systems (e.g., Benefit Point).
• Knowledge of the Employee Benefits industry.
• Salesforce experience.
• Experience managing vendor relationships.
  
  

This is a 6-month Contract-for-Hire opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client.
