Responsibilities
- Product Modeling Projects:
- Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering processes to ensure alignment with project objectives;
- Collaborate in the development of robust supporting documentation to streamline project workflows;
- Perform thorough analysis of business requirements to identify essential features for product development;
- Model and meticulously maintain carrier products in compliance with IRI/ACORD Standards for PPfA/PPfL, DPfA/DPfL; utilizing VTXml or manual XML modeling techniques;
- Configure products, features, distribution agreements, commissions, funds, ownerships, and intricate configurations with precision;
- Conduct rigorous testing to validate product functionality on order entry platforms, ensuring seamless performance;
- Facilitate smooth deployments to test regions and production environments, adhering to established protocols;
- Analyze and resolve product production issues promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions;
- Provide expert support to carriers, distributors, and colleagues; addressing modeling questions and issues with proficiency and professionalism.
- Forms & Carrier Questions Track:
- Proficiently apply requirements gathering methodologies to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project objectives;
- Collaborate and contribute to the development of comprehensive supporting documentation;
- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements to assess their impact on forms;
- Perform meticulous gap analysis on forms to identify potential builds for carrier questions;
- Skillfully create and activate custom carrier or distributor questions on designated platforms;
- Expertly maintain carrier or distributor forms including tagging and generation rules;
- Support the implementation of e-Signature forms’ functionality, ensuring seamless integration;
- Utilize XMLSpy to edit or create forms’ XML to define form libraries and generation rules;
- Employ Adobe Acrobat to tag forms proficiently using Named Items or iPipeline AFFIRM XPath;
- Create and maintain Common Map for AFFIRM using XML macro language, ensuring accuracy and efficiency;
- Conduct rigorous testing to validate form and question functionality on order entry platforms;
- Facilitate smooth deployment of forms and carrier questions to test regions and production environments;
- Analyze and resolve production issues promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions;
- Provide expert support to carriers, distributors, and colleagues on forms and carrier question issues, demonstrating professionalism and expertise.
- 8 years of demonstrated expertise in strategy and consulting roles, showcasing a track record of success and impactful contributions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or Mathematics; or a related field (substantial work experience may serve as a substitute for formal education).
- Extensive experience in tagging and editing Adobe Acrobat PDF forms, demonstrating proficiency in document management.
- Familiarity with annuity order entry systems including iPipeline Affirm and AnnuityNet, as well as life insurance eApp platforms including LifeSpeed and iPipeline Affirm.
- Thorough knowledge of industry standards including ACORD, XML Forms Management, VTXml, XML Product Modeling (PPfA, PPfL, DPfA, DPfL), XMLSpy, XPath Reference, and MACRO.
- Demonstrated proficiency in business analyst competencies; encompassing requirements gathering, documentation, and needs analysis, as well as test plan development and execution.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders including clients, colleagues, and subject matter experts.
- Proven self-starter with a proactive approach to project advancement; ability to maintain relentless focus on meeting client delivery dates.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a consultative demeanor that allows for effective interpretation of customer business needs.
- Ability to translate business requirements into application and operational specifications to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Operational background within a life insurance or annuity carrier, wealth management firm, or annuity/life insurance platform provider; must have a comprehensive understanding of insurance products, application packages, business rules, and information technology services systems.
- Familiarity with DTCC, e-Sign applications or AMP is considered advantageous.
