Summary
We are looking for a Systems Engineer to assist in overseeing the existing server and network infrastructure at our client's KS facility. You must have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have strong problem-solving skills. You must also be able to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree or higher in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
- CCNA Certification
- Avaya Phone experience
- Required soft-skills:
- Team leadership;
- Ability to work in a group and solo;
- Ability to manage a project from start to finish;
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment wearing appropriate PPE.
- 2 years of experience as a network engineer to include:
- Managing and supporting LAN architecture;
- Designing and implementing LAN solutions;
- Knowledge of industry protocols (i.e., TCP/IP, MPLS, VLANs);
- Knowledge of storage array administration;
- Windows Server administration (build, maintain, troubleshoot, optimize);
- VMWare system management (build, maintain, troubleshoot, optimize).
Preferred
- ITIL Certification
- CCNA, CCNP Certification
- Experience with BGP, SNMP, System Logging, SSH
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
- Understanding of monitoring, packet capture and analysis, and ISP provisioning
- Understanding of Cisco wireless implementation and configuration
- Knowledge of ISCSI
