Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software on user devices.
- Provide technical support in-person, remotely, or via phone/email.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and printer issues.
- Set-up new workstations including user accounts and applications.
- Prioritize support tickets based on urgency and business impact.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware and user support records.
- Educate users on basic troubleshooting techniques and best practices.
- Contribute to documentation for technical procedures.
- Stay current with technology trends and best practices.
- May support additional systems including A/V equipment and ruggedized laptops.
- High school diploma.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical/workstation support.
- Proficient with Windows OS, Office applications, DNS, Active Directory, and VPNs.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Strong soft skills: team fit, user communication, and patience.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Comfortable with physical tasks including bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Ability to work primarily on-site with possible remote work sometimes.
- Occasional after-hours/weekend work may be required.
- Ability to travel between locations using a company-provided vehicle.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
