Job Description
The Software Developer - TriAD will be responsible for developing and supporting Tricon's full stack applications built within Pega and AWS environment(s), and ensuring best practices are followed within the environment. This position must manage and maintain the health of the environment and should take proactive measures to ensure proper performance. This role requires collaboration, mentorship, and a willingness to work in a strong team setting to accomplish common goals. Development of the application is fast-paced and complex, so this position must leverage a deep understanding of development principles to implement robust, well-performing solutions to the business with a mix of production fixes and net-new enhancements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
Develop custom solutions based on business requirements
Developing and maintaining Lambda and other serverless functions
Integrate with other business systems as required
Design architecture and dependencies for optimal performance
Transition legacy systems into the Pega ecosystem
Create and optimize SQL scripts for stored procedures or application dependencies
Document workflows and integration points post-project
Complete code/peer review for other developers
Identify performance improvement initiatives and execute on those recommendations
Follow Scrum development methodologies closely
Work with various team members to analyze requirements and translate those into Pega solutions
Follow best practices for system development
Prepare for and perform deployments and upgrades
Perform automated regression and unit testing prior to release; report on findings
Work with QA team to develop test cases
Demonstrate newly-developed solutions to the business
Create custom integrations and maintain existing API layer
Architect, design, and document relational database schema for new modules
Qualifications:
Proficient in writing custom sql/mysql/postgres queries
Knowledge of SDLC and ability to participate in all phases
Experience working on Agile Scrum projects
Experience or working knowledge of the following technologies:
Understanding of development languages and integration technologies
Relational database management systems, data modeling, database design and SQL
Strong problem solving and design skills
Object-oriented development
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS degree preferred or combination of industry certifications and equivalent related work experience of 3 years or more
Minimum of 3 years' experience developing, preferably using JavaScript, PHP, SQL, BPM tools, AWS or other related languages and technologies
At least 2 years of general development experience including API development
Strong technical knowledge of development practices
Good understanding of project and time management principles
Passionate about technology and creating business efficiencies

Salary Range
Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
