What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freight Payment Auditor position at Tricon Solutions?
Location : One PPG Place Pittsburgh PA 15272 (Remote)
Type : 6 months contract on W2
Shift Time : 8 am 4 pm
SUMMARY
This position has core responsibility to support freight payment invoice and dispute auditing as processed through Clients Transportation Management Systems (TMS). The individual must learn the functionality of the TMS in the area of freight payment so that proper actions can be taken in the system to resolve invoicing disputes and rating discrepancies identified by transportation carriers or displayed as rejected by the TMS system.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 13 years experience 4 years higher education preferred
- A detailed understanding of Clients transportation contracts and tariff rate structures must be followed to accurately and effectively complete freight payment invoice audits.
- The position may also support various projects related to data gathering metrics / reporting and other department efforts related to freight payment.
- The ability to work accurately while under pressure to meet deadlines is critical.
