Job Description :
Looking for a PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst with a strong background in PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) and advanced skills in TSQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases. Daytoday activities include data management source control (TFS / Azure DevOps / GIT) unit testing documentation testing production support change management software development and data integrity.
Required Education :
Some college preferably in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering or related IT discipline.
Required Skills :
PowerBuilder Development : Experience with PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher) (5 years).
SQL Query Writing : High level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from Sybase and MS SQL Server databases (10 years).
TSQL Query Writing : 10 years of experience.
Unit Testing and Documentation : 10 years of experience documenting and performing unit testing.
Source Control Technologies : Experience working with source control technologies such as TFS / Azure DevOps or GIT (5 years).
Documentation : Experience creating updating and maintaining documentation for programs system specs and flow diagrams (10 years).
Client and Business Analyst Collaboration : Ability to work with the client and / or Business Analyst to support test scenarios (5 years).
Problem Analysis : Ability to analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis (5 years).
Change Management : Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes (5 years).
Remote or Onsite :
Local Candidates : Strongly preferred.
Nonlocal Candidates : Must be willing to relocate at their own expense from acceptance with no delays and follow the hybrid schedule (onsite 2 days a week with Wednesdays mandatory to be onsite).
