Job Overview
We are seeking a Second Shift Laboratory Technician to join our Production Support QC Labs in Delaware, OH. This role involves performing quality control testing , troubleshooting abnormalities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives . The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, results-driven, and collaborative in working with the QC team and other functional groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and troubleshoot QC result abnormalities and take corrective actions
- Perform quality control testing on production samples following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Support continuous improvement projects and maintain project timelines
- Analyze customer requirements and adjust batches as needed
- Collaborate with QC teams, production, and technical groups for batch dispositioning
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as assigned
- Prioritize daily activities based on production and project needs
- Maintain lab inventory, materials, and support 6S initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Delaware's Quality Management System
- Contribute to departmental action plans and support root cause analysis (RCA) tasks
- Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering)
- 1 year of academic or professional laboratory experience with proficiency in laboratory methods
- Ability to work weekends and overtime as dictated by business and project needs
