Job Skills / Requirements
Armed Security Officer: will be responsible for manning and operating the main gate; maintaining 100% accountability of access control; monitoring surveillance cameras; patrolling property; inspecting building security; maintaining logs; assisting with testing and emergency procedures; responding to, and investigating security breaches, incidents, and alarms; reporting incidents of security and policy violations; assisting HR with personnel actions; acting as facility telephone operator, and other assigned duties.
Education Requirements (Any)
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification Requirements (Any)
TX PSB Level 4 Armed License
TX PSB Level 3 Armed License

Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Texas Level III or Level IV (Armed and/or Armed PPO) License
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Must be able to endure extreme heat and cold
- Must be able to walk up to 4 miles during an 8-hour shift
- Must be OC qualified
- Must provide a Glock 17 or Glock 19 semiautomatic pistol.
- Must provide a black level III holster along with a black duty belt and OC spray with belt holder.
- Must qualify with a duty weapon from a holster mounted on the waistband on an annual basis
- 3 years of experience in security industry
