Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner(NP) – Long Term Care (Every other Weekend Coverage)

Location: Long-Term Care Facility, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Job Type: Part-Time (Weekends)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a NP* to provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care facility* on weekends. The NP will work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff to manage the health and well-being of residents, ensuring continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Manage chronic conditions, acute illnesses, and injuries in a long-term care setting.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide follow-up care.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and health status.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with Pennsylvania state regulations and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Licensed NP in Pennsylvania .
• Experience in geriatric care, long-term care, or internal medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule:

• Every other Weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday)
• Potential for additional shifts based on facility needs

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $650.00 - $670.00 per day
