Print Production Specialist

As a Sign Production Specialist, you will be responsible for all aspects of the physical production of digital print and/or signs. The ideal candidate has experience with flatbed production, contour cutters, large format printers, production, finishing, as well as installation. Position is full time Monday-Friday with occasional overtime. You will work in a systems-based environment with high attention to quality, detail, and deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be able to maintain meticulous attention to detail, collaborate effectively within a team setting, and juggle multiple projects with efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize extensive computer technology.
• Apply/Printing graphics to various materials.
• Operate large format printing and cutting equipment, including solvent printers, flatbed printers, CNC routers, laminators, plotters, and cutters.
• Prepare materials for graphics application, which may involve cutting, laminating, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Conduct quality checks before and after production, ensuring work orders are followed accurately and standards are met.
• Execute finishing processes such as laminating, cleaning, packaging, and shipping.
• Manage and report inventory levels, suggesting reorders to the manager as needed.
• Assist with the unloading and storage of raw materials and maintain organization in storage areas.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment when necessary.
• Operate a range of software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Caldera, Onyx, printer and routing software.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education: High School or equivalent (Required)

Experience that matters most:

• Any kind of sign production experience (min. 1 year)
• Construction / Finish Carpentry (min. 1 year)
• Power Tools (min. 1 year)
• Basic Mathematics
• Knowledge of sign installation (min. 1 year)

• Knowledge of Window and Apple Computers (min. 2 years)

• Knowledge of sign installation (min. 1 years)

• Adobe Creative Suite (min. 1 year but not required)

• Flatbed Printing (min. 1 year)

• CNC machining (min. 1 year)

• Large Format Printing (min. 1 year)

• Laminating (min. 1 year)
