Position: Azure Data Architect
Location: Hartford, Connecticut - Onsite
Type: Contract
Looking only 15 Years of Experience candidate who is located in East Coast
Required Qualifications:
Key Skills: Azure, Snowflake, Salesforce, Kafka & Azure Databricks.
- Over 12 years of practical experience in data engineering development, with expertise in Snowflake, DBT (Data Build Tool), Google Cloud Platform, and Python.
- Proficient in programming with Python or Scala.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks) ,AWS data services including AWS Glue and AWS EMR.
- Skilled in using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Deep understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink, and other Apache ecosystem tools.
- Proven experience with Snowflake and DataOps practices.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and core data structure concepts.
- Familiar with Data Vault modeling methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability, with a strong grasp of the 5Vs of Big Data: Volume, Variety, Veracity, Velocity, and Value.
- Strong conceptual understanding of the MapReduce programming model.
- Well-versed in software design principles and algorithm development.
- Self-driven and quick to adapt, with a passion for learning new technologies and tackling complex challenges.
- Extensive experience working within Agile methodologies and applying Agile principles effectively.
