Trident Consulting is seeking a " Senior .NET Engineer " for one of our client. A global leader in business and technology services.
Job Title : Senior .NET Engineer
Job Type : Contract (Remote)
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Expertise : Utilize extensive hands-on experience in C# / .Net (Core and Framework), REST and SOAP API (IIS hosted), SQL Server, and GitHub.
API Development : Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs, including calling vendor-defined third-party APIs.
Batch Jobs : Write windows service batch jobs or preferably APIs with equivalent functions.
File Processing : Handle file processing and error handling functions.
Database Management : Work with vendor-supplied databases and optimize queries for performance.
Version Control : Proficient in using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
Effective Communication : Communicate effectively with customers onsite.
Logical Reasoning : Apply strong logical reasoning and debugging skills to solve complex problems.
JSON and XML : Work proficiently with JSON and XML.
Top 3 Skills Required :
1. C# / .Net Development :
Extensive hands-on knowledge in C# / .Net (Core and Framework)
Proficiency in developing REST and SOAP APIs
2. SQL Server :
Strong experience with SQL Server queries and stored procedures
Ability to optimize queries for performance
3. GitHub and GitHub Actions :
Experience with version control and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) using GitHub and GitHub Actions
