Position Overview:
We are seeking two motivated Mortgage Loan Processors to join our dynamic team. These positions are essential to ensuring smooth loan processing, timely closings, and satisfied clients. The positions are seasonal, lasting 6 months to 1 year, with the possibility of extended contracts based on market conditions.
Qualifications:
- No degree required
- Prior experience in mortgage processing is required
- Familiarity with Meridian Link and QuestSoft is a plus
- Experience with credit checks and related documentation preferred
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Essential Job Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Downloading and reviewing loan applications
- Communicating with clients via phone and email
- Reviewing credit reports, disclosures, and loan documents for accuracy
- Submitting loan files to underwriting and obtaining conditional approvals
- Ordering appraisals, title reports, homeowner insurance (HOI), and payoffs
- Identifying deficiencies and ensuring file updates
- Gathering signatures and ensuring timely closings
- Evaluating rate locks and coordinating clerical tasks
