3D Concrete Printer Tech

Responsibilities

Operate and Maintain 3D Concrete Printing Equipment:

• Safely and effectively operate a variety of 3D concrete printing machines, including robotic arms, extruders, and material handling systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and preventative maintenance on all 3D printing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, including identifying and replacing faulty components.
• Perform calibrations and adjustments to ensure optimal printing accuracy and efficiency.

Prepare for Printing Operations:

• Assist in the preparation of the printing site, including ground leveling, formwork installation, and material delivery.
• Load and unload materials, such as concrete mix, reinforcement, and printing consumables.
• Set up and configure 3D printing equipment according to project specifications.

Monitor Printing Processes:

• Continuously monitor printing operations to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and address any deviations from the planned print path or unexpected issues.
• Collect and record data related to printing operations, including material usage, printing time, and equipment performance.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices related to 3D concrete printing and construction.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report any hazards.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate effectively with 3D printing engineers, construction workers, and other project stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with supervisors and team members regarding equipment status, printing progress, and any issues encountered.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in 3D printing technologies.

Other Duties as Assigned:

• Assist with other construction activities as needed, such as general labor and site cleanup.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Technical or vocational training in mechanics, robotics, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

• Prior experience operating and maintaining industrial machinery or robotic systems is highly preferred.
• Experience with 3D printing technology is a plus, but not required.
