*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tankerman to join our team. The Tankerman plays a crucial role in the safe and efficient transfer of liquid cargo, ensuring all operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. *Responsibilities* - Oversee the loading and unloading of liquid cargo from tankers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. - Conduct inspections of equipment and systems prior to operations, identifying any potential issues. - Operate pumps, valves, and other machinery related to cargo transfer. - Maintain accurate records of cargo transfers and report any discrepancies. - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations while providing exceptional customer service. - Provide assistance in rigging and securing equipment as necessary. - Ensure compliance with environmental regulations during all operations. - Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functioning. *Requirements* - Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating machinery related to liquid cargo transfer. - Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. - Experience in hospitality or cooking is a plus, as it may enhance teamwork and service quality. - Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks associated with the role. - A valid driver's license may be required depending on operational needs. - Commitment to safety practices and procedures at all times. Pay: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour
