Job Role
The Technical Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the engineering and project management teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving quality improvement initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead and mentor engineering staff, fostering professional growth and holding a high standard of performance.
- Work with the existing Project Management team members to improve and monitor launch processes that consistently deliver projects on predictable timelines.
- Oversee the design and development of medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to quote the cost to manufacture new devices as part of business development efforts.
- Ensure effective management of sub-tier suppliers from the initial quotation phase through PPAP approval and start of production.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 8 years of experience in design, development, or manufacturing of mechanical products or equipment, preferably medical devices.
- 2 years of experience in a leadership role, managing technical teams.
- Proven ability to manage a team to meet project deadlines.
- Strong project management skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical content to our customers clearly.
