Responsibilities
- Perform general construction and building maintenance tasks, including drywall installation, sheetrock repair, and painting.
- Assist with carpentry work such as framing, door installation, trim work, and minor renovations.
- Conduct routine repairs and maintenance, including patching walls, replacing ceiling tiles, and repairing flooring.
- Support facility improvement projects, including minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and organized while following proper safety procedures.
- Assist with moving and assembling furniture, as well as setting up/breaking down for company events.
- Perform inspections and address any facility issues to maintain a safe and functional environment.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work with hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks.
- Participate in necessary training required for the position.
- Available to work flexible hours based on workload and company needs.
- Support other maintenance team members as needed.
- Experience with general construction, drywall, sheetrock, painting, and basic carpentry.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools, as well as proper safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects when necessary.
- Open to feedback and collaboration.
- Ability to adapt to changes in work priorities and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Heavy equipment operation experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of experience in construction, carpentry, drywall, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with basic electrical and plumbing repairs is a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License
