PLANT/DEPARTMENT: All Locations DIRECTED BY: Warehouse Manager
IMPORTANT WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Plant Management, Purchasing, Inventory, and Plant Production.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Transfer of products and inventory items between the Norway Warehouse and all TMS-HEG manufacturing facilities.

MAJOR DUTIES:
- Adhere to traffic safety regulations, exercise caution in treacherous circumstances and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors.
- Assist in unloading cargo when delivery sites are understaffed, maintaining product quality throughout conveyance.
- Contribute to company data by accurately recording times of delivery and hours worked.
- Perform safety checks of brakes, steering column, lights and mirrors prior to each leg of journey to ensure road readiness.
- Follow and maintain loading protocols, using chains and binders to secure cargo and re-checking their stability throughout trips.
- Use GPS to stay informed of route information and communicate pick up/delivery times with supervisors and colleagues.
- Other Duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED/SPECIAL NOTES:
- CDL License
- Two years of experience working as a CDL driver with no legal or safety incidents on record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
