Job Summary and Qualifications

As an EP Technologist in our Cardiovascular Cath Lab, you will assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time to supply care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other healthcare members. Your care will change the lives of our patients.

What you will do:

• 
  You will be responsible for overall care and evaluation of patients EP procedures and cardiac device implantations performed in the EP Lab
• You will monitor patients during EP procedures, and performing sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventional procedures

What qualifications you will need:

• Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technician preferred
  
• A current American Heart Association ACLS certification or American Red Cross ALS certification is required
  
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
  
• Required License: RT or CVT required, RCIS preferred
  
• Registered Radiologic Technician (does not have to be RRT if CVT at time of hire)
  
• Previous cardiac catheterization and EP experience strongly preferred
