Job Summary and Qualifications
About the Role:
- You will provide critical care to patients with complex medical needs, including those requiring ventilation management.
- You will manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exam, and arranging testing and admissions.
- You will instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
- You will maintain and review patient records, including posting tests and examination results.
- You will administer medications according to physician orders.
Requirements
- Nursing Degree: Associate's degree in nursing or higher from an accredited school is required.
- Licensure: Current licensure as a registered nurse in the state where you practice and/or hold an active compact/multi-state RN license.
- Certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required. ACLS certification is preferred and required within 6 months of hire/transfer date.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of critical care nursing experience is required.
